I went from a Ford XL to Ram Tradesman. Depending on the options you want, you may need to go up a trim level for it to be a choice and sometimes bundles cost less than going with select options in the lower trim.
I was very happy with my Ford and only upgraded because I needed more payload. Either truck would have made me happy but I feel I got more value with the Ram.
