That's what I do - good piece of mind in case that next station is a little farther than I think or something unexpected comes up. I have noticed my gauge is pretty conservative in terms of how much fuel is left in the tank.
Yeah, I pretty much have to use truck stops to fuel up because of my length and not being able to back up easily (tow doubles). I've been known to drive right by my exit and then have to scramble to find another stop close by. LOL Piece of mind is great! Now I can run close to 700 miles before I need fuel so I'm good now. I won't ever run hard enough to need fuel in one day of travel.
