Actually, the adjusters are made of a no-rusting material. The problem is the steel piston the plastic adjusters pressure will rust. Actually, its usually the cylinder walls that the piston rides in that seems to rust first.
At least thats how the old 9000 were made. I assume the newer 9000xl shocks are made the same way.
I would think that if you also bought the in-cab compressor/control, that would seal off the piston/cylinder from road salt.
