Rancho 9000xl on Dodge

For folks with the manual adjustment on the Rancho 9000, how do you reach the knob in the front coils?

After taking the camper off, decided for a change I would try to soften the ride. Actually took the time to air down the tires, softened the rear shocks, but can't reach the knob on the front.
  • If I turn my wheels completely to the left I can reach the one on the left side and completely to the right the right side. I can't completely grab the knob between thumb and index finger but can turn it with just my index finger. Or.... needle nose pliers as previously suggested.
  • Same as above. I leave my fronts on 9. Only adjust the rears when empty along with the tire pressure.
  • I don't adjust the front shocks. Because of the weight of the Cummins, I set it at the highest setting and leave it there.

Rear ones are adjusted to 9 with camper on; 3 unladen.
  • It is difficult. I pretty much leave mine dialed all the way up but if I jack up the front end to expand the spring I can do it. I can also stick a socket on a extension in there and turn the knob. No real good solution without spending bucks.
