I would find it odd that motor 'burnt' in an 07. If unable to find a separate fuse (unlikely-generally anything thats on a fused circuit from dist. panel wont have a separate fuse, generally) I'd jump a power wire to motor to test or meter its feed. Light works? At least our (correction) Ventline uses same 12v feed to power both light & fan.
punomatic: If purpose of capacitor unknown (line noise?) why not replace? Asking not to, struck the 12year old in me, the urge to tell you how close your entire electrical system is to catastrophic failure is all but overwhelming!
