Ranger is coming back... so is Bronco?

Some of us talked how we miss Ford Ranger. Looks like it is coming back.

  • The Bronco I liked was the first gen, with the 302 V8. Smaller and serious 4WD. More of an enthusiast's 4WD...similar dimensions to the IH Scout and Jeep if I recall.
  • I have a 71 Bronco and am a member of Classicbroncos.com. They've all been watching and speculating for years about the possibility of the Bronco going back into production but this seems to come up every year, someone anonymous saying something to give them hope, then nothing ever happens. So I'm not holding my breath just yet.

A year to late for me. Typical Ford and Ram waiting for someone else's results. Oh wait there is always that "military grade aluminum" the new Pinto has :W
And I never did understand why Ram got rid of their little truck with the V8, it was a screamer grocery getter.

Probably has more to do with juggling the line ups to try and keep their CAFE numbers down to where they don't get fined big time by Big Brother. If they can sell a boat load of roller skates it makes room for them to sell more higher end gas guzzlers.

Why would Macaronni develop a new Dakota. What he really want's is to put a new grill and badge from your new GM mid size truck and call it a Dakota. :W

I remember years ago a guy a work had the sport version (can't remember the name) of the Dakota with a 360 V8. It was a pretty strong running truck for its day.
