I have a 2006 F-250 with a 6 liter diesel. It was about average until it got 90,000 on it. At that point I had a couple of electrical issues (FICM). After 90,000 miles it got really expensive. Second FICM ($800), Fuel pressure regulator, dirty turbo ($1300), new brakes, calipers, and pads because the brakes locked up and left me stranded ($1500), blown headgasket/new oil cooler/new egr cooler ($8000). I've owned Ford trucks for over 40 years and this one has been a lemon. I've been disappointed in the truck and the ford dealer for the way they handled the problems. They strung me along until the truck was out of warrantee before they fixed it.
