- NMDoyleExplorerWow everyone...thanks so much for the replies! Ordering the 45 gallon RDS tonight and hoping to have it installed for our first "long" trip of the season! Happy RVing and thanks for the help!
- Vette_RacerExplorerSame as everyone else, I have the RDS 95 gal with gravity flow, works like a charm. Big plus on the Chevy is that the DIC is very accurate so you know how much fuel you have used as well as mpg.
- campboss222ExplorerI can only echo what most other responders have said. My 45 gal RDS tank works great. I bought a small electric pump (identical to the one shown in one of the pictures here) and tapped into the fuel return line from my auxiliary AirDog II fuel filtering system. It works great and gives me greater freedom of choice where to fill up.

You might want to check into whether you tank is rated for flammable fuels. I think there can be a issue.
I did my homework. Nice assumption though...
akcooper: I wasn't trying to be irritating or judgmental I was just giving you a heads up, I thought there might have been a issue. But as you said you have done your homework, so all is groovy.
Happy trails - asuperheatExplorerHave one, love it would not be without it now. works great as advertised. Mine is gravety feed with a shutoff valave. Worth every penny.

- akcooper9ExplorerI have an RDS tank as well. Unlike most, mine is used for gas. I installed a pump and pump fuel from the pick up tube on the top of the tank. Driving from San Diego to Dallas was a dream with the 80+ Gallons of gas on board. I put a switch in the cab to turn the pump on off as needed. We stopped when we wanted to...not when we had to.
When I was looking to order, I found this place: http://3gtoolboxes.com/
They by far had the best price shipped when compared to others (over 150 dollars)

- LowRyterExplorerI bought my truck with the aux tank installed. for some reason it only holds 45 gallons, I was told 60. has an electric pump.
I usually add Stanidyn whenever I use it. - Bionic_ManExplorerI have the 60 gallon RDS. Installed shortly after I got the truck. Very nice to have the extended range and stop when I want to stop for fuel.
