Re: 191 to Jackson, WY
Has anyone driven on Hwy 191 from Rock Springs, Wy to Jackson lately. It looks like it is in the middle of nowhere. Is a good road or should I pick a different road when I go out in September?

- Good road, I have driven it many times. Right now it closed between Pinedale and Jackson due a wildland fire.
- Good road. I've driven it several times.
- Drove it about 3 weeks ago, good road, towing a 34' TT. Was a fire there that started last week, WYDOT had road closed for a few days due to fire in that area, road now open and we travel that road about every other year on our way to Idaho.
- it's a good road, but like all the roads up that way, there could be some roadwork being done.
There's a NF campground about 20 miles northwest of Pinedale, right on the Green River, water and dump. A couple hours away from Jackson. - Google maps has a nice view of it.
