Well if you read it says he is pulling a 15000lb trailer up hill. Ecoboost is rated at hauling 11,000 trailers. So yeah when you over load your truck by 4000+ pounds it won't sound to good, especially a gasser. It was up hill so if you have any automotive knowledge you would know that the transmission temp will go up without a trailer or with, just the heavier the more but at least it stayed at about 235. Try hooking that trailer up to a dodge or GM 1500 and see what happens.
And guess what? The normal range for tranny temps with just plain driving and no load is about 210 anyway, so really it isn't even that high for being loaded that much.
