Carrying Butane stove in pop-up truck Camper. 'Hawk' shell.

Maddog, I spent this summer completely rebuilding 1979 FWC Grandby. I did away with the propane compartment, stove and heater. Storage is precious in a small camper, so it made sense to me. I also opted for a 1 burner butane. Like you, it will be used for coffee or 1 pot meals. I just store the cylinders inside, in a cardboard box. I believe butane is under very low pressure, unlike propane, and less hazardous.
