Not really a unique mod, but I thought I'd share.
My $11.00 sink covers
Took a trip to Lowes after calling CW and being quoted over $50.00 for a set of their covers.
Lowes had "stain grade" pine panels and they were already the perfect width. My sink is 16" x 30". The panel was 36" so I had them cut 6" off the end and cut the remaining piece in half at 15". I made a template for the cutout of the faucet and jigsawed it out. Then sanded the corners. It fits perfect and does the trick. I still have to stain them to match the cabinets. Not too shabby for 15mins work.
And best of all DW came out and said "I love em!"
