We were at Costco a few days ago and I picked up a brochure re. their auto purchase program. I'm not in the market right now for a new car/truck but I was curious if anyone here has used that system...

Nothing to lose by trying it. But many people report dealers will give a better price than Costco if you continue to negotiate.
