Yes I more than likely had an installation issue. But I guess I learned that an internal seal that is not installed properly may not show any signs of water penetration until major problems arise. In retrospect I would much rather have an external bead of silicone I can inspect and touch up regularly much like my roof seals. Not something I cannot see. Yes, it's not a 100% fool proof method but something I will consider from now on when I purchase an RV. I know my opinion is based upon my circumstance but never had a problem with the other 6 RV's I owned that had the framed windows.
