I would call the factory and discuss your problem with them. I have called them in the past and they seem to be very customer friendly and want to help.

They're great until you need a NEW jack. They told me I had over-extended one of my jacks. I explained to them that it wasn't possible to be over-extended as I hadn't extended it more than 12" when it seized up. Wouldn't budge electrically or with hand crank. Fortunately I could continue driving the rig and didn't miss our trip, just couldn't unload the camper. South Hill RV ended up replacing it for me but HappiJack wasn't going to budge, really pissed me off. BTW Happijack made this assumption without ever seeing the jack.
