The Heki sky light is junk! I've treated the latches with uv protectant and have gone as far as adding reflective tape on top of the sky light itself to protect the plastic latches from uv breakdown, thinking that was the problem with everyone's latches breaking. Guess what, both latches broke within a couple months of each other. The hatch was probably only opened a dozen times before it broke too! Very disappointed with this product.
