Hi Wagonqueen,
I had two adults on the Snap n Nap with no problems. I say it can handle 350-400 lbs. It will start bowing the aluminum frame, but it holds. I would put the "heavier" person towards the front.
All your hardware to secure the bed assembly should be new or in good shape from the rebuild? to handle max weight situations.
I always told the kids to not bounce around and horse play on it, thinking it would hurt it, but it held up!
