Well, I did it. Went diesel. Am very happy with it. Payload and weight limits are impressive..

Curt is also Made in China! In FACT all Curt 5er hitches are Chinese Made.
That may be true today...I know when I bought mine, I bought it on the premise that it was made in the USA. Their web site touted it...give me a few days to let the snow melt out of the bed, I will see what is stamped on the hitch itself.
