I have Torklift a call this morning, FireGuard, you are correct, they said you have to lift the bed and remove the bumper to remove the stock hitch.
They so make a bolt on unit that mates just under the stock hitch that makes it the same as their Super Hitch, model D1104. You can then use the Super Truss Extension to get the receiver to the back of your truck camper.
