We have the same issue with the sofa in our 23SS. Very uncomfortable. Not helpful to you (or us) but the sofas in the new Roos are fantastic. They are actually comfortable to sit on and when you pull them out, there is a full size air bed that you inflate for the mattress. It would actually sleep an adult.
