Westend..thanks for the reply. That's what I figured, either dropping the tank, which I DON'T want to do if at all possible. I guess I'll do the "cut a larger access door" method around the pipe into the floor, so I can get my hands in there to work. Repair the pipe connections, and then replace the floor with maybe some sheetmetal, so the WON'T be able to chew in that way again.
