I don’t have a TPMS, it was an option at the time of purchase, but the original owner decided not to have it.

Without a TPMS, most of this conversation doesn’t apply to me. Plus I have been away for a little bit.
I’m just as confused as when I started. However, buying a crossfire with a little less pressure does seem to make sense. I just don’t know if I should get 65, 70, 75, or 80psi.
I’m leaning towards 70psi cold.
I’m also concerned that Kaytag1 had a slow leak and the crossfire didn’t isolate the bad tire. If I recall on a slow leak it should isolate at 5psi drop and a quick drop at 10psi.
On the other hand this is the first I’m hearing of the crossfire failing.
