Towing over 10K lbs with 6 passengers...
So I'm searching for a vehicle that can tow our 10K lb trailer and still give us room to carry 6 total passengers, 4 of them under 12 which means they can't ride in the front with an airbag turned on....

I picked up a 01 Excursion for 5k, have redone everything and have well under 10 into it including exhaust, tuner, complete preventive overhaul, new tires, front and rear air bags and a bunch of interior stuff like full new leather package. Have 10k towing miles and love the v10. With a few things it tows as good as the diesels of the same years without the extra diesel issues. Plus we can use it around town without having to worry about short tripping the diesel.
Is it perfect, no. But it runs like an ape up hills with a 9k lb trailer and all the family. Its cheap for a TV and does it well.
