So I used the CA compliant clear Proflex stuff a couple years ago. I don't recommend it. It turned a dingy color and began pulling away despite prepping the surface. So, there are bits and pieces stuck that won't come off. I'm afraid to use a harsh chemical. Tried denatured alcohol, mineral spirits. I have acetone, but I think it'll dull the fiberglass. Any suggestions?
Can't really help with removal question but I do know that Proflex dries and remains a bit sticky which can attract dirt etc over time and is hard to wash out. Proflex RV dries without the stickiness and is what should be used. Go ahead and ask me how I know. ;)
