On further checking, NADA says your curb weight is 6401#. For a diesel dully that seems awfully light. It also says you have a max payload of 3,499# and a GVWR of 9,900#.
Curb weight is way light. Mine weighs in at 7800 (see pic above)
I think those weights are for something other than a D/A CC dually.
The GVWR is way low too.
My GVWR is 11,400 or 11,200.... I can't remember which.
Yes, those are the specs for an SRW gas regular cab truck. - NoelExplorerOur departed 2000 AF 1150 was about 5100# when loaded up.

That doesn't sound out of line. If the unloaded rear axle weight was say 3800 lbs and the loaded camper put 5600 lbs on the rear axle, that comes to 9400 lbs.
My buddy has that camper on a Dodge dually, and he said his real axle weighs 9400 lbs. That seems almost impossible to me. :) - pcoplinExplorer IIMy buddy has that camper on a Dodge dually, and he said his real axle weighs 9400 lbs. That seems almost impossible to me. :)
- SoCalDesertRid1ExplorerCamper center of gravity listed at 55 inches
Long bed pickup cab to axle length is 54 inches
Typical cab to front wall of camper distance is 3 to 6 inches
That makes the camper's center of gravity come to about 4 to 7 inches behind the truck's axle.
With a ready to camp weight of 5200 lbs or more, I would say this camper would be best hauled by an F450 cab/chassis truck. Cab/chassis trucks have 60 inch cab to axle distance, 6 inches more than long bed pickups, plus alot heavier rear suspension than pickups. - macdale4ExplorerI had an 1140 on a Ford F-350 crew cab and it handled it OK. But I think the overall weight was around 14,400lbs truck and camper. So that would make the camper around 5000 or more loaded.
