My actual scaled tongue weight with my standard load of goodies in the rear cargo compartment (four bikes, drinks, two bins of firewood, clothes, ladder and other misc. accoutrements and tools) runs around 1100 lbs ready to tow. The dry tongue weight listed in the book was very close to the actual weight the salesman showed the day I first look at the unit on his lot, 910 lbs. On the day I picked it up with propane and battery but nothing in the rear and no water in the tank, it scaled almost 1000 lbs. So, loading the rear helps balance the rest of the goodies that have made their way into the unit over the years, but only to a certain point. Hit me with PM if you want more info.
It's going to be a stretch for his Titan. I wouldn't.
