Really having a tough time understanding tow info

If you have the factory tow package and figured out maximum tow capacity tow at 80% of that rating.
Example: Tow rating 10,000lbs your wet camper Max is 8,000lbs.
Example: Tow rating 10,000lbs your wet camper Max is 8,000lbs.
