Really would appreciate your advice on this unique camper

I'm thinking of buying one of these and would really appreciate your comments. The guy builds beautiful rigs and knows what he's doing, IMO. I'm tired of dragging big rigs around (currently have a 17' trailer, big to me) and want to go back to a simple and easy way to get into the backcountry. I don't need many amenities. I would get a Toyota Tacoma to haul it around.

Thoughts? These start at around 6k w/o much inside, are made of W. red cedar. The website has photos of the interior - beautiful work. I've talked to him about his construction methods and they seem very sound. It's pretty carefree, but would need a coat of poly every couple of years. Thanks in advance.
