You might give some thought to Timbrens. I have a set on my truck and like them a lot. I installed them without the spacers so there’s a bit of a gap and I don’t notice any difference in ride quality unloaded. Loaded up with the FW and gear it settles down on them lightly and I think it improves the ride. Biggest thing I notice is it handles bumps at speed better. They’re only a couple hundred bucks from etrailer and take about 15 minutes to install.
FWIW I agree that the coils give a really nice ride and handling balance for a HD truck. Don’t worry about any keyboard warriors you may encounter. People get all frothed up here all the time about the topic but it really makes no difference in the real world.
