Technically, these are NOT 12VDC compressors. There is an a small box of electronic that converts the 12VDC to 3 phase AC or brushless DC to drive the actual motor.
I think the current name is SECOP, which may be what this unit has. I haven’t been able to find out. The closest I can come is the owners manual says “Car refrigerator with compressor from Germany” on it. SECOP is a German company.
