Reasons to Not Buy an RV
Here's some good info on important things to consider before an RV purchase. Very good information for those who are even considering stepping into the RV world, but an old dog can also learn some new tricks. Often these videos are told from the consumer's perspective, but this one is actually told from a lawyers perspective who's actually represented RVers in court.
When starting out lots of people automatically assume that RVs will have the same type of buyer protections that autos have (lemon law). In a lot of states there are actually no lemon law protection for recreational vehicles. Some states the coverage is limited to motorhomes or specific parts of motorhomes. Fortunately, in the State of Texas all motorized or tow-able recreational vehicles are covered under the state's lemon law.
