Sorry but I'm not 100% brand loyal, really! I both my #1 DD a 2001 Volvo S-80 and have regretted buying it do to the poor built quality of this vehicle. To be fair the 2000 Dodge Stratus (bought @ a repo auction) turn out to be a money pit also.
DD #2 was bought a 2001 Buick Century, again a total POS. Nutz loves to talk about Chrysler products rusting out well both rocker panels rutted out and is the norm on ALL Buick's. It also needed the trans replaced, two hubs ABS system repaired and a water pump all with in one year of ownership!
So yep they ALL have their issues as they are machines, that if not taken care of WILL cost you lots and lots of money.

I also wonder why the safety concerned Ford and Dodge fans, have not jumped in to this issue as of yet ? I note that this thread was out yesterday....but so far only one response...mine.
BTW I'm on Vacation and have been working on relandscaping the front yard. And frankly the way I got slammed the last time I posted about a GM recall I won't be starting any new recall threads, at least not about GM's.
