Good point. You can get boxes for adding in existing work, but that complicates the process of installing a new receptacle.
Unless the microwave has a 20-amp plug, it should be fine to plug it into a 15-amp receptacle. If it’s like my microwave outlet, it is in an overhead cabinet next to the microwave, so the OP is unlikely to plug anything into the second outlet.
A 15-amp mobile home receptacle should be easy enough to find at a mobile home dealer or supply house. (Maybe that’s what he meant by wanting to replace it with the same kind of outlet – one without the separate box.)
