We like our little Fun Finder -- check out both of our blog links to see where we have taken it, and to see our modifications and so forth. If your Jeep is rated to 5000 lbs., you should be ok -- use the transmission when going down steep hills.
In terms of seating, we have found that the dinette cushions, plus the bolsters, are comfortable when supplemented by thick "body pillows" that we put behind our backs while eating meals. After dinner, when it is time to kick back, we turn 90 degrees and put the pillows behind our backs, so that we can stretch out on the dinette bench.
I also have a tricky back -- we replaced the cushions with memory foam, and we put a memory foam topper on the cushions at bedtime. The headroom of 6'4" allows me to stand up and stretch when I need to.
The Casita and Scamp units are very well built and lightweight. I do not find them to be comfortable enough for me, especially due to limited headroom, but it all depends on your needs. You should definitely look at them and sit in them for a while.
