Ok.. from another post and some research (and talking to a jeep engineer) we have found that our jeep can safely pull up to a 6200 gvwr trailer.... I would be comfortable going to 5000# - just because...

who cares what a jeep engineer says. It means nothing in real world conditions. The difference between you and him is a ton of experience towing. Buying the max trailer that you can haul I believe will be a mistake for your first go at rv'ing.
As I stated before 4500lbs fully loaded ready to camp would be your MAX.
not 5000 that you keep posting. you can't support the TW from a 5000 lb trailer.
You haven't said one thing about what you "need" in a trailer so that we can suggest models.
Unknowing what you need I personally would get a Rockwood Roo 17 or perhaps a roo19 at the top end....both should scale out at under 4500 loaded to camp.
And as far as the Hensley, do not worry about the added weight over conventional WDH's it will make up ten fold in performance. Your towing enjoyment I believe depends on it IMO.
