On my previous HTT I rearranged the tongue area and went with dual batteries and a single 30# tank (couldn't fit 2 batteries & 2 tanks.) What I did do was buy an adapter to let me use a 1# disposable propane bottle and connect it to the regulator pigtail. I used it once - ran the 30# dry on the last night of the season.
