Reflectix Material

Anybody used and/or have any experience with the insulation
product called Reflectix?

It seems to be sold in rolls of 25' or 50' at either 16", 24" or 48"
widths.

Did you leave a gap at the top of the windows so that you could vent
the inside of the pop-up?

  • I have a set of inserts for all the windows. Cut to fit in windows, snug (holds itself).
    Used Velcro for door windows.
    I used the 24" roll.
They have a silver tape that holds great.
I taped a lot of larger odds & ends to reduce waste.
I remove from windows when not needed. Inserts folds up and is stored behind furniture.

  • So you used it as toppers on the bunk ends, as well as window inserts. Correct?
what width did you wind up using?
And did you install it inside or outside with the clips?
  • I have used it, I cut it to fit and used the heavy duty metal paper clips from Office Depot to attach, I also did the windows and only used them when I had a lot of light coming in the bunk areas. I really made a difference with heating and a/c in the pup.
