If it is a Dometic, did you change the switches at the top of the freezer door?

You never had one and forgot while it was in storage.

I wonder why a question like this even gets a response? Do you guys think the op has checked the bulb?

Makes one wonder how some people get from point A to point B.

Your light switch has gone into SFR, or, Sudden Functionality Reversal. Have you changed out your batteries recently? That can cause it.

That means the light is now on when the door is closed, and off when you open it. You can verify this by drilling a hole in the refer door and having a peek inside.

Edit; I see you have a dually...time for a med duty chassis

It could be a sticky door switch, like what happened on my Dometic Refrigerator.
