Ben, thank you, that gives me an idear. Have a couple friends who are mechanics for independent shops. Maybe they can get better quality parts?
Maybe I'm not hooked up in the wholesale market? This is true with construction materials. Being in the business, I can find/get a decent deal on commercial grade "stuff" direct from suppliers vs going to retailers.
I'll look into that.
