Oh yeah, that was something else about the old Chevy 2 speed slushbox - rear pump on them, you could push start them!

Oh how I had to do that many times. These old chariots we used to drive never had much for a battery. And we'd get out watching the submarine races and leave the radio on and when it came time to leave - click.. click.... click... LOL.
Get 'em going down a hill, drop it low and away we go!!
Sure can't do that with anything today unless it's a stick.
