I am not saying that technology isn't good, there are just things you should be able to control when driving that it seems the auto makes think we are too stupid to deal with!

Well said... I think there's a balance of new technology and old school along with skills developed from experience.

Likely a lose/lose for the auto maker! Sued if a driver shuts down the engine while driving and get in a wreck, and if they can't turn off when they want the auto maker gets sued then also!

I just wonder if Toyota tried to make their cars too smart! Push button Start/Stop and auto transmissions, TPS fails and car goes to WOT, and they can't turn the engine off, shift into neutral, brakes won't stop it!

So is it a case of the Car is too smart to keep one one from turning off while in motion, or accidentally bumping into neutral, or was it a case of on the drivers part "You Can't Fix Stupid?" and the driver just didn't know what to do??

My TV still has three pedals the one on the left, well that is emergency disconnect pedal!!

if rv'rs want more stuff and more quality they do not go together. simple is better.
