Yes, you can get plastic hole covers if you remove the B&W.
If it were me, I'd leave it in place and use something like this Demco 5th wheel rail adapter.
It's a little pricey, but you won't have to buy another 5th wheel mounting kit and it will also preserve the gooseneck ball if you ever have a need to pull one of those trailers. If your Pullrite will fit standard rails this will be your cheapest option.

I use the Curt X-Rail which is similar to the Demco . Curt makes 2 versions, one for their round shank and one for the B&W square shank. I pick up the hitch attached to it but I use my tractors front end loader then put the rubber cover on the hole.
