Removing aluminum siding from travel trailer

Hi, I'm wondering how the aluminum siding is removed from my keystone travel trailer?. Does it come off from top to bottom or bottom to top?. I just need to expose the outer floor joist and wall plate.
Thanks mark

  • Usually the bottom is bent under and stapled. Then that piece is interlocked to the one above it. Then more staples on the bottom of the next piece and so on. Remove the corner and any other moldings first. When I replaced some on mine it was a 3 person job because the center of long sections wouldn't stay snapped. You just needed a hand to hold it in place so you could get the end snapped in.
  • ON top to bottom. OFF bottom to top. Just the opposite of siding on a house.
  • It comes off bottom to top. Mine is stapled at the bottom in back. Not sure how to access the sides. I've never looked.
