removing partition wall

I have a 2001 Fleetwood prowler. I was wondering if anyone had ever removed a partition wall? Are these walls load bearing? I can move it and there does not seem to be any pressure on it. Any advice?

  • If the wall is side-to-side, it's not "load bearing". The ceiling "joists" run side-to-side. If the wall is running front-to-back, there might be a dependency on the wall to help keep the roof stout, but kind of doubt in, as the roof joist still run side-to-side and are all the same and all self-supporting.

Same in a house. Any wall that runs parallel to the ceiling joists are not load bearing. Any wall that runs perpendicular (might be).
  • yes it does have a receptacle in it, but I was worried about it doing something to the roof didn't want it to fall in.
  • It is not load bearing but may have plumbing or electrical any it. Should be easy to determine
