Cab partition separators?

Recently, one of the more clever things I saw with some people who had a class "C" they used for events (they had a toad, so once parked, the "C" stayed in place for a few weeks), was a divider that separated the cab part from the rest of the rig.

This divider was made out of three materials. It used Coroplast in the center, then on each side, Reflectix was glued on. This way, it was rigid enough to stay in place in the cab, but could be folded and tossed in the cabover when not in use. It also was covered by a curtain for extra insulation, and some aesthetics.

Has anyone done similar for something for sale or is this something that is definitely a custom thing to make? For extended use, it is nice for allowing one to heat/cool less space in the rig, as well as to have some privacy.
  • My Cambria came with a curtain that snaps onto secured buttons mounted to the overhead area. My unit has an entertainment center verses a bunk however it is

easy, up in about a minute and fits well.
  • We also use a thermal curtain, $20 I think, from WalMart. It matches the furniture and does a really nice job keeping the heat or cold in the cab and out of the house. They sell different degrees of thermal curtain. We went the middle ground and have been happy. The curtains also block a decent amount of light into the house. We also use a compression curtain rod to hang it.

  • We use a set of thermal curtains and an extra long curtain rod. The curtains came with a tie-back so we put in a hook behind the driver's side and just leave them in place and use the tie-back to keep them stowed when in motion. Works well for us!
  • I had an insulbright cover made to separate the cab. It works well and is attached using velcro.

We use a twin sized navy blue heavy quilted quilt that is tucked into the top bed. It does a fab job of keeping cool or warm are in the living area. It is kept flopped onto the bed during the day and put down at night. It has served us very well on some very COLD nights to keep the living area almost toasty.

    The size seems just right.

Simple is better (and cheaper). :)
