Replace Manual Awning with Power Awning ... Anyone ?

Ours is a Dometic, has shock absorbers that flex so during heavy rainfall, one side tips down and drains the water. But the shocks/arms also move during wind gusts, which I suppose relieves the strain on the fabric. A very nice design. But still, we usually retract before that happens.

Hate to mention this but ours came with a remote control too. It's pretty sick to be out there adjusting the awning from your lounge chair.
