Some areas or states have much higher fuel costs. If you can drive through those areas rather than fuel up there, your flexibility stills allows you to make stops for other reasons.
My only question is whether you have sufficient payload to carry that additional fuel.
. The Bigfoot is 4500 loaded very heavy, the Oshkosh pin is a little less. I figure the S&B tank is 60 gallons or 30 more than OEM. That is maybe 210 more pounds than what I'm carrying now at 7 pounds per gallon. From memory I think my payload is around 5400.
