Our new trailer is now an issue! It appears that the star wiring on the old trailer masked the issue, as it stopped much better than the new trailer does.
I am emailing RAM and asking for their plan to fix this issue before there is an accident, and prior to filing a complaint on www.safercar.gov, which we all should doing!
I included the graphs above. Chris
So here is the reply from RAM
"Thank you for contacting the Ram Customer Assistance Center.
I regret the problem your vehicle has experienced and appreciate the
time and effort you took to bring this matter to our attention.
Unfortunately, we are unable to diagnose your vehicle's problem, and cannot provide technical assistance via email. We recommend contacting your authorized dealership to arrange an appointment for proper diagnosis.
Should your dealer require technical assistance they may contact our Technical Operations Resource Group (STAR) or contact their regional Business Center to address your concerns with the brake controller."
Like me stopping by a dealership is going to get RAM off their dime on this global issue.

"blah, blah, blah....same old same old"....I've had no issues or scares, but have not "had" to make an emergency braking maneuver..so, don't really know yet..but TH now loaded closer to 18K...I tow almost continually in the mountains..up/down/up/down, and again, no braking issues,,,,BUT...With all the post, it's got me thinking to order a P3 with the correct pig tail and have it "ready to go, just in case"....
ON EDIT:Where's the best place to buy a P3? Tweedy's and etrailer have them for $144. I saw a "plug and play" cable connector for 2016 Ram 3500 for $17, BUT, only saw on one site, up to a 2013 Ram 3500....Any information on correct "plug in play" connector for the 2016 3500?
