It's my understanding that the RAM IBC software figures in the speed of the vehicle regarding the amount of voltage sent to the trailer. At low speeds, the IBC may not be engaging effectively. At least that's what others are reporting.
I just got my new 3500 ready to go yesterday with a new hitch and a kingpin height adjustment and it appears (?) from my 15 minute test run that ithe IBC seems to working Ok. I did not however try a high speed panic stop which I think I should try. Also my fifth wheel weighs in at 10000 loaded and the IBC setting setting was light electric.
