Replace split mirrors

Does anyone make a replacement mirror to replace the split mirrors on a new truck ? I hate the little extra mirror and always have but this new Ram is even worse. I just want one regular mirror.

X2, to each their own, but I would not be without.

To the OP you might get a glass shop to cut you new glass.
  • Try going to an auto glass shop. I have had replacement mirrors cut there.
  • Shoot, I put the small convex mirrors on my car so I can see the blind spots. Wouldn't be without them on the truck. Regular mirrors will not show you what is close by like a convex will.
  • Never seen one but if you don't fold out the tow mirrors anyway, you can get the non towing mirrors for a 2nd/3rd Gen, the oval shaped ones. They only have one glass pane. Probably get an even trade from the first person you see that doesn't have the towing mirrors.
  • I don't believe anyone makes a 1 mirror replacement since there is no market.
Personally I wouldn't be without the spot mirrors, I use them all the time for safety's sake.

  • I would never think of giving up the smaller convex mirror at the bottom of my OEM towing mirrors. They are invaluable for checking the trailer wheels on tight turns, looking for small cars in my blind spot before changing lanes on the interstate, etc., etc., etc.
